This project reimagines the iconic horror figure Demogorgon in the form of a stylized blind box collectible, inspired by the visual language of designer toys like those from Pop Mart. The goal was to reinterpret a traditionally terrifying creature through a playful, compact, and collectible lens—balancing cuteness with menace.
The design retains recognizable features of the Demogorgon, such as its petal-like head and muscular stance, but exaggerates proportions to fit the chibi-style aesthetic typical of blind box figures. The figure was modeled with an emphasis on form clarity and character silhouette, making it instantly recognizable even at a small scale.
This piece explores how horror elements can be transformed into commercially appealing vinyl toy designs, blending character design, product aesthetics, and fan culture into a single stylized collectible.

Production Process
The model was first blocked out in Blender to establish the primary forms and overall silhouette. A basic rig was created within Blender to design and test the character’s pose, ensuring it had strong presence and personality. Once the pose was finalized, the model was brought into ZBrush for high-resolution sculpting, where detailed features such as skin textures, folds, and facial elements were refined to enhance its visual appeal while preserving its stylized charm.
