About Me
Zhuoyuan Li is a multidisciplinary designer and technical director working across graphic design, 3D, and real-time production. His work focuses on turning creative ideas into production-ready systems — from brand and IP development to motion capture and Unreal Engine pipelines.
Over the past years, Zhuoyuan has increasingly worked in lead-level roles, defining standards, coordinating designers, and ensuring that everything delivered to vendors, factories, or production teams is clear, usable, and reliable.Rather than only creating visuals, he builds workflows that allow teams to move fast without breaking.
Zhuoyuan is currently based in New York, working on projects that combine branding, immersive media, and physical production.

Pocket Board
Product Design, Graphis Gold Award Winner
Pocketboardd is a compact mechanical keyboard that blends functionality with design. As the designer, I established the overall visual direction, created the logo, and designed the custom letterforms on the keycaps. I was also closely involved in the structural design of the keyboard, ensuring a balance between tactile performance, portability and aesthetics. Pocketboard is more than just a keyboard—it’s a thoughtfully crafted everyday tool.
Omnia
Immersive Media, Rookie Game of the year Winner
OMNIA is a VR narrative experience set in a future where emotion has been erased for the sake of control.
Players embody Alison—a child who still feels—as she journeys through a lifeless city to reintroduce forgotten human values: joy, empathy, and moral judgment.
Ultra Lotus
Motion Capture Short Film made in UE5, Showed in Bowers Museum
This animated short film was created using a custom virtual production pipeline integrated with motion capture that I developed to streamline the entire process—from modeling to final compositing.
