Panda Mascot

Role: Modeler

Tools: Blender

After reviewing the concept art, I determined that the character follows a chibi blind-box style, so I prioritized creating it with a collectible figure mindset.

The head features organic curves, such as the panda-like black eye circles and the mouth, so I chose to sculpt the head to better capture those forms. In contrast, the body, clothing, and hat are composed of simple geometric shapes, which I modeled using vertex-based modeling techniques.

The character holds a magic wand with a horse head design, which is slightly more complex. I began by blocking out the overall shape with basic geometry, then used a remesh workflow to convert it into a sculptable mesh for detailing. Finally, I rendered the model using a standard three-point lighting setup to showcase the form and material qualities.
